FAQ

Home Pro — the details.

For each line: the measured optical loss, the events detected along the run (splices, connectors, bends), the reference standard used, the test equipment and the date. It is the same documentation a commercial installer would issue, scaled to a domestic install.

Yes, within reason. It needs power, ventilation and reasonable access — utility rooms, understairs cupboards and lofts with a boarded area all work well. We will recommend a position at survey and you approve it before installation.

Included. One mesh node, supplied and installed, is part of the £785. Additional nodes are £185 each if your property needs more, and we will tell you at survey whether it does rather than after the fact.

We do, with care. Period properties usually mean surface routing in discreet trunking, existing service voids or floor cavities rather than chasing walls. Concealed routing is available as a £245 add-on where the structure and any consents allow it.

Usually not necessary — Home Pro is a 4–6 hour single-visit job. If your property is unusually large or access is restricted to certain hours, we will schedule a second visit at no extra charge as long as it is agreed before we start.
